My name is Jan Carter, and I've been in that exact spot.
The Guide I Couldn't Find
My own life was completely derailed by a major, life-threatening health crisis. The recovery was slow, frustrating, and terrifying.
I learned very quickly that healing isn't just a physical instruction manual. It's a full-body, full-life experience.
I had medical advice, but I was desperate for a guide to everything else:

This isn't another podcast about "bouncing back" or chasing the ghost of who you were. This is a practical, compassionate, and honest guide to rebuilding.
My mission is to explore the blueprint for a holistic recovery. We go far beyond the physical and dive deep into the 8 Building Blocks of Healing—the emotional, intellectual, social, spiritual, financial, and environmental parts of your life that are the true foundation for a strong comeback.
We'll talk about the science of nutrition for repair, the neuroplasticity to overcome brain fog, and the unspoken rules of navigating a new identity. We'll have conversations that are honest about the struggle and optimistic about the path forward.
